Join Neogen as a Regulatory Affairs Specialist - APAC and play a key role in enabling compliant product access, supporting customers, and strengthening regulatory excellence across the Asia-Pacific region. In this senior specialist role, you will work closely with regional country leaders, distributor partners, and global teams to navigate evolving regulatory requirements, support product launches, and help ensure accurate, market-appropriate documentation and communications.
Key Responsibilities
- Support regulatory compliance and product stewardship activities across APAC, ensuring processes and documentation align with applicable regional and country-specific requirements.
- Coordinate regulatory submissions, registrations, approvals, certifications, import documentation, and other activities needed to maintain and expand market access for products.
- Prepare, review, maintain, and coordinate regional Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and related hazard communication documentation in accordance with local requirements.
- Review regional marketing materials to help ensure claims are appropriately substantiated and suitable for local market use.
- Respond to regulatory inquiries from customers and internal stakeholders, collaborating with subject matter experts to provide timely and accurate information.
- Partner with APAC country leaders, distributor partners, and global cross-functional teams to identify priorities, support new product launches, and resolve regulatory, shipping, and trade compliance needs.
Job Requirements
- Experience in regulatory affairs, product stewardship, quality, or a related compliance function, ideally with responsibility for APAC markets.
- Experience working within a US-based or multinational organisation and collaborating across cultures, functions, and time zones.
- Working knowledge of APAC regulatory requirements relating to product registration, imports, Safety Data Sheets, hazard communication, and market access, including import considerations in Japan.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to communicate regulatory information clearly to internal teams, customers, and external partners.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, country-specific requirements, and documentation timelines.
- Proficiency with standard office technology and document management systems, along with a collaborative and solutions-focused approach.
