Job Description

About the role

We’re looking for a Pallet Repair Operative to join CHEP – the global leader in pallet, crate, and container pooling. You’ll inspect and repair pallets in a fast-paced, target-driven production environment, utilising hand tools and collaborating with automation and new technologies.

• •Inspect and repair pallets using hand tools
• •Apply safe working practices and meet safety standards
• •Maintain quality and production targets
• •Perform manual handling and housekeeping tasks
• •Support automation processes and adapt to new technologies
• •Uphold professional conduct and timekeeping standards

What we need from you

• •Experience in a production or repair environment preferred
• •Comfortable with manual handling and physical tasks
• •Safety-conscious and reliable
• •Able to work to quality standards in a fast-paced setting
• •Willingness to learn and work with automation
• •Experience in using power tools and hand tools would be beneficial
