 The Role:

At St Monica Trust, we're a Bristol-based charity with over 100 years of supporting older people to live fulfilling, independent lives. We believe that creating a welcoming, comfortable and enjoyable environment is just as important as the care and support we provide.

As a Resident Support Assistant, you'll play an important role in residents' day-to-day experience by delivering high-quality housekeeping, hospitality and catering support within our care homes.

This is not a care role. Instead, you'll focus on creating a warm, welcoming environment where residents feel valued, comfortable and at home. Whether you're preparing dining areas, serving meals, supporting housekeeping activities or simply taking time to chat with residents, you'll help make every day a little brighter.

  • Ensure room checks, communal room comfort, cleanliness, hygiene and laundry sorting.
  • Meet residents’ unique needs and collaborate with colleagues across the care home teams.
  • Ensure lounge areas (where applicable) are ready for use as a coffee and bar venue for residents and their visitors.
