the posting

Lead the crews. Own the quality. Set the standard.

A well-established, growing residential home services company in the Treasure Valley is looking for an Install Manager who takes pride in every system their crews put in.

You'll run the residential HVAC installation department: building strong crews, keeping jobs on schedule and on budget, and making sure every install is one the homeowner brags about. If you're the leader installers trust to have their back and still hold the line on workmanship, keep reading.

This role is for you if you:

Walk a finished install and spot what's off before the inspector does

Like running a tight schedule and solving problems on the fly

Get satisfaction from turning a green helper into a lead installer

Want real authority to set standards and build your department your way

Measure success by clean installs, zero callbacks, and a crew that stays

What You'll Own

Crew leadership: Lead, coach, and support residential install crews, from helpers to lead installers

Quality: Run job-site and post-install quality checks so every system is installed to code and company standard

Scheduling & productivity: Plan crew assignments and daily workload with dispatch and sales so jobs start and finish on time

Job costing: Manage labor hours, materials, and equipment usage to hit job budgets and department margin

Permits & inspections: Keep permits, inspections, and code compliance moving without delays

Training & development: Onboard new installers and build a clear path from helper to lead

Customer experience: Make sure crews show up on time, protect the home, leave it clean, and resolve install issues fast

Safety: Set and enforce job-site safety standards

Collaboration: Partner with sales, service, warehouse, and ops leaders to keep equipment, parts, and handoffs running smoothly

Field support: Jump in on complex installs and troubleshoot when crews need you

How You'll Win

You'll be measured on what matters to the business, the homeowner, and your crews:

Install callbacks and warranty claims

First-time inspection pass rate

On-time job completion

Labor hours and job cost vs. budget

Crew productivity

Customer satisfaction and reviews

Safety record

Installer retention and development

Hit these numbers and your bonus reflects it.

What You Bring

5+ years of residential HVAC installation experience

Experience leading install crews as a lead installer, foreman, supervisor, or manager (strongly preferred)

Strong knowledge of equipment changeouts, ductwork, gas piping, electrical, airflow, and local codes

Experience with permits, inspections, and code compliance

A track record of reducing callbacks and raising install quality

Comfort managing schedules, labor hours, and job costs

The confidence to hold crews accountable while keeping morale high

EPA 608 certification (preferred)

Experience with field-service software (ServiceTitan or similar) a plus

Valid driver's license

What You'll Get

Total compensation up to $110K: base salary of $80K+ depending on experience, plus a performance bonus tied to team quality and productivity

Medical, dental, and vision insurance

401(k) with company match

Paid time off and paid holidays

Company phone and tablet

Company uniforms

Year-round stability with consistent install volume

Leadership development and growth opportunities

In-house classroom and hands-on training facility

Tool purchase programs

Team events, meals, and celebrations

A team culture built on performance and accountability
