The Opportunity

We are now seeking a Resort General Manager to lead operations at our stunning Club Wyndham Mission Beach property. This is an opportunity to take ownership of a resort, build a high-performing team, and deliver exceptional guest and owner experiences in one of North Queensland’s most sought-after coastal destinations.

How you’ll Shine

This is a hands-on leadership role where you will take full responsibility for the performance and day-to-day operations of the resort.

You will lead across all departments, drive financial and operational outcomes, and create a strong, service-led culture that reflects our brand.

Key responsibilities include:

Lead all day-to-day resort operations across front office, housekeeping, maintenance, and guest services

Drive guest satisfaction and consistently deliver exceptional owner and guest experiences

Manage budgets, financial performance, and operational KPIs

Build, lead, and develop a high-performing team

Partner with corporate teams to implement business initiatives and improvements

Maintain strong relationships with Body Corporate, owners, and local stakeholders

Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements

Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and overall resort performance

What You’ll Bring

Proven experience in hotel or resort management

Strong operational knowledge across all hotel departments

Experience managing financial performance, budgets, and reporting

A confident, people-first leadership style with the ability to build engaged teams

Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

A hands-on approach with a genuine passion for hospitality
