Respiratory Therapist CRT/RRT (Cardiopulmonary) - FT/72

Description

The Respiratory Therapist will:

• •Use Respiratory Assessment throughout all areas of the hospital when caring for patients.
• •Follow the AARC Clinical Practice Guidelines.
• •Promote compassionate, efficient, cost effective quality patient care, while demonstrating qualities consistent for the role.
• •Incorporate teaching principles into all practices.
• •Show use of written and verbal communication skills in all aspects of the role.

The schedule for this position is 7:00 pm - 7:00 am and includes every other weekends and holidays.

Requirements

• •Completion of accredited Respiratory Therapy program
• •Vermont Respiratory Care Practitioner license
• •Registration or Certification with the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
• •One (1) year clinical experience
• •Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers
• •Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• •Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) (preferred)
• •Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certificate (preferred)
• •Two (2) years' clinical experience, including emergency care (preferred)
• •Experience with outpatient testing, i.e., PFT, stress testing, cardiac monitors (preferred)

Salary Range: The base rate for this position is $35.00 - $42.00 per hour. The hourly range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the position. The rate for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate.
