Renaissance Milwaukee West, premium distinctive AAA Four Diamond hotel, is seeking a Restaurant Host(ess) to join our Restaurant Team in Eldr+Rime.

Summary:

The Restaurant Host is responsible for creating a welcoming and organized first impression for all guests. This role manages guest flow, seating, reservations, and communication with the service team to ensure a smooth and enjoyable dining experience. The position requires excellent communication skills, professionalism, and a warm, guest-focused demeanor.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• •Greet guests promptly and warmly upon arrival, creating a positive first impression
• •Manage reservations, wait lists, and seating arrangements in accordance with restaurant standards
• •Escort guests to tables and present menus as needed
• •Communicate effectively with servers and management regarding table status, guest needs, and service flow
• •Monitor dining room activity to ensure balanced seating and optimal guest experience
• •Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and entrance area
• •Assist with answering phones, taking reservations, and responding to guest inquiries
• •Provide accurate information regarding menu items, specials, and hotel facilities when appropriate
• •Support servers and bussers during peak periods as needed
• •Maintain a professional and positive attitude toward guests and associates at all times
• •Follow all company policies, procedures, and service standards

Requirements

Qualifications:

• •Excellent customer service skills
• •Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with guests and coworkers professionally
• •Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• •Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
• •Ability to lift, pull, and push moderate weight
• •Additional tasks may be assigned at any given time
• •High school education or related experience
• •Must obtain and maintain any required certifications

Compensation:

The starting hourly pay rate for this position is $15.00.
