In this job, you'll be working directly with customers - in-person, via phone, and through e-mail - to meet their musical needs by:

• •Selling - instruments, accessories, print music, etc.
• •Renting - band, orchestra & other instruments, accessible to everyone!
• •Enrolling - sign up new students for lessons at the Menchey School of Music!

Other duties include:

• •Troubleshooting customer issues and finding solutions
• •Maintaining a clean and organized store
• •Opening and closing the store according to policies
• •Cash handling - daily balancing of cash drawer
• •Training on instruments, new products, and sales techniques

This is not a summer/seasonal position.

Requirements

Required Experience:

• •HS Diploma or GED
• •Ability to play a musical instrument
• •General knowledge of musical instruments and written music

Preferred Experience:

Previous retail or sales experience
