POSITION SUMMARY :

Sugarbush Resort is searching for Retail Sales Associates to join our team! The Sales Associates perform merchandising functions while providing exceptional customer service to our guests. This is a full or part-time seasonal position from November to the end of the season with starting pay at $20/hour.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

• •Provide excellent customer service to guests of the facility.
• •Greets and receive customers in a welcoming manner.
• •Assist the customer in finding the right product for their needs and desires.
• •Know the product and services offered in your location as well as other Retail/Rental locations and the Resort as a whole.
• •Drives sales through engagement of customers, suggestive selling, and sharing product knowledge.
• •Responds to customers’ questions.
• •Work with POS and processing payments .
• •Assists with inventory, including receiving and stocking merchandise.
• •Continually exceed our guests’ expectations and create memories for both guests & employees, not only in Retail but as a resort.
• •Work independently on ideas that are for the benefit of your location.
• •Perform other duties as required by Retail Manager and Supervisor.
• •Work closely with other departments at the resort to maintain consistency of product and pricing.
• •Perform other duties within the Resort when needed.

QUALIFICATIONS :

• •Must be a minimum of 16 years of age.
• •Excellent customer service skills required.
• •Ability to meet federal, state, and local requirements for employment.
• •Ability to pass a federal and state background check.
• •Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• •Ability to stand stoop, bend, and lift items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• •Must be able to work at least 8 hours on your feet.
• •Ability to function in and outdoors during extreme weather conditions.
