Essential functions

Provide managerial and operational support to the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager

• •Drive and maximize store sales, control and minimize shrink, and control payroll within budget to achieve store goals
• •Demonstrate exceptional customer service and ensure each guest receives outstanding service by providing a customer-friendly environment, including greeting and acknowledging every customer and by maintaining outstanding standards, solid product knowledge and all other components of customer services.
• •Implements and maintains guest service standards.
• •Maintains all merchandising standards, display presentations and signing standards and monitors inventory levels.
• •Ensures proper completion through follow-up. Assists in monitoring sales performance through the analysis of sales reports.
• •Ensures compliance with all company policies and procedures and follows all safety standards to ensure a safe work and shopping environment.
• •Performs any other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

Required qualifications/ competencies:

• •Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with the ability to work independently, as well as with others
• •Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• •Must possess sound judgment and people management abilities
• •Must be adaptable to a changing environment and able to consistently achieve goals despite stress and ambiguity
• •Must possess the ability to use computers and technology for information, and to access information necessary to complete the job
• •Must possess ability to process information/merchandise through POS register system
• •Must have open availability to work weekends

Required education and experience:

• •High school diploma or G.E.D.
• •Minimum of 1 year of retail or customer service experience.

Preferred education and experience:

3 years of experience in retail store with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role.
