Retail Warehouse Associate

• Team: Outlet
• Reports To: Heartland Outlet Manager
• Status: Full-Time, Non-Exempt (40 hours/week)

The Retail Warehouse Associate is responsible for receiving, organizing, and stocking merchandise from incoming shipments, as well as assisting customers with purchases and supporting general warehouse and retail operations. This position plays a key role in maintaining an efficient and customer-friendly environment, while also supporting volunteer engagement and training.

Requirements

• •Sort and organize merchandise received from truck shipments, price items, and stock the sales floor.
• •Assist customers by pulling purchases from the sales floor and help load them into their vehicles.
• •Assist those on the warehouse dock as needed.
• •Support others with special projects or tasks as assigned.
• •Help recruit and train volunteers with the above mentioned tasks.
• •Other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience

Required

• •High School education or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
• •Valid driver's license.

Working Conditions & Physical Demands

• •Schedule may include evenings, weekends, and extended hours as ministry needs require.
• •Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
• •Ability to obtain lift certification and run all necessary warehouse equipment.
• •Ability to lift and carry up to 60 pounds.
