Job Description:

• •Facilitates timely scheduling with coordinators, supervisors, physicians, and patients.
• •Monitors high-risk cardiovascular patients and provides necessary support.
• •Participates in performance improvement activities to enhance cardiovascular service delivery.
• •Maintains professional relationships with all customers and stakeholders.
• •Acts as a liaison to physicians’ offices regarding proper orders, medical records, consents, and other required documentation.
• •Coordinates multidisciplinary cardiovascular services including cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, and vascular surgery.
• •Develops and implements evidence-based measures to improve the quality of cardiovascular care.
• •Ensures compliance with all regulatory guidelines related to cardiovascular services.
• •Supports and assists with data collection for process and quality improvement initiatives.
• •Manages patient access and scheduling within the health system for cardiovascular services.
• •Provides patient education and serves as a resource for patients and families during diagnosis and treatment.
• •Communicates patient status and needs to healthcare teams and collaborates with other providers to sequence care.
• •Other duties as assigned.

• •Previous leadership experience [Preferred]

• Computer skills such as Microsoft Word, Access, Excel and Outlook [Preferred]

• •Education:
• •Associate's of Nursing [Required]
• •Bachelor's of Nursing [Required]
• •Master's [Preferred]

• •Work Experience:
• •2+ years acute care experience [Preferred]
• •2+ years in cardiac care [Preferred]

• •Licenses and Certifications:
• •Registered Nurse (RN) [Required]
• •Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
• •Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS) [Preferred]

Pay Range:

• $33.08 - $58.04
• Background Screening Requirement (Florida Law)
