We are seeking experienced Progressive Care nurses to join us for a 13-week seasonal assignment and help care for our community when demand is at its highest.

 At Logan Health, seasonal RNs are not viewed as temporary help—they are fully integrated members of the Progressive Care Unit team. From day one, you will work alongside experienced nurses, providers, therapists, case managers, and support staff to deliver exceptional care to patients with complex cardiac, respiratory, renal, and medical conditions requiring advanced monitoring and specialized nursing interventions.

  • This is a unique chance to elevate your nursing career with a full-time commitment for 13 weeks in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a Seasonal RN in our PCU, you'll work with high-acuity patients, tackling complex conditions such as heart failure, arrhythmias, and respiratory issues.

You’ll also play a critical role in post-operative cardiac care, handling heart catheterizations, pacemakers, and more, while gaining experience in advanced respiratory and kidney disease care. Qualified candidates must have at least 2 years of prior experience working in a unit that provides care for patients with similar needs.

Seasonal Position Details:

  • 36 hours per week (3x12-hour shifts)
  • 15% seasonal premium pay
  • $1,000 bonus after 30 days
  • $1,000 bonus after 60 days
  • $2,000 completion bonus

What We're Looking For

  • Current Montana RN license or compact license eligibility
  • 2+ years of Critical Care experience
  • NIHSS certification preferred
  • Strong critical thinking, communication, and prioritization skills

Seasonal Progressive Care Unit positions are limited and fill quickly. We encourage interested nurses to apply early.

Qualifications:

  • Current Montana RN license or a multi state compact license with authorization to practice nursing within the state of Montana; required. BSN degree preferred.
  • Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in similar position within a medical setting (eg, physician office, clinic, or hospital) preferred. Experience in assigned area(s) preferred.
  • Possess knowledge of professional nursing theory, medical terminology and principles of professional nursing practice to administer and evaluate patient care.
  • RQI Provider (BLS) required within 7 days of hire/transfer or before independent patient care, whichever occurs first.
  • ACLS & NIHSS must be obtained within 6 months of hire/transfer.
  • Understanding of the confidentiality laws that govern the provider-patient relationship, including but not limited to, HIPAA guidelines.
