Job Description:

Schedule: Monday - Friday

Shift: Day Shift but must be flexible to see night shift

Location: AdventHealth Winter Garden

Primary Job Responsibilities:

• •Conducts audits to ensure compliance with hospital governing agencies.
• •Reviews patient charts to verify accuracy and adherence to regulatory standards.
• •Collects and analyzes data to monitor compliance and identify areas for improvement.
• •Synthesizes multiple data elements to establish and implement effective processes.
• •Leads and participates in planning and delivery of process improvement plans.
• •Communicates findings and recommendations to interdisciplinary teams.
• •Engages in continuous evaluation of process improvement initiatives.
• •Develops action plans based on data collection and analysis.
• •Educates stakeholders on compliance requirements and improvement strategies.
• •Validates the effectiveness of implemented action plans.
• •Maintains accurate records of audits, reviews, and data collection activities.
• •Participates in meetings and projects as directed by leadership.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• •Advanced computer skills with Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook [Required]
• •Skills in creativity, initiative, [Required]
• •Ability to apply leadership principles, communicate regulatory requirements and be self-directed [Required]
• •Knowledge of evidenced-based medicine through research and regulatory initiatives [Required]
• •Knowledge of core measures, public reporting, process improvement, performance improvement and methodology to improve quality of care [Required]
• •Knowledge of Cerner and FirstNet computer system [Preferred]

• Education:
• •Associate's of Nursing graduate of a rn program [Required]
• •Bachelor's of Nursing [Preferred]

• Work Experience:
• •1+ year of recent leadership experience in a hospital setting [Preferred]
• •2+ years of recent Emergency Department clinical nursing experience [Required]

• Licenses and Certifications:
• •Registered Nurse (RN) [Required]
• •Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
• •Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS) [Required]
• •Pediatric Advanced Life Support Cert (PALS) [Required]

Pay Range:

• $31.85 - $52.76
• Background Screening Requirement (Florida Law)
