Job Description:

• •Identifies potential resolutions to problems identified in data collection.
• •Audits procedural charges and clinical documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• •Educates staff on issues related to charging and documentation.
• •Communicates with department management, staff, and others regarding charge and documentation issues.
• •Ensures accurate and efficient charge capture and documentation practices.
• •Manages charge entry for OR/Cardiac Cath procedures.
• •Provides back-up support to staff as needed.
• •Updates charge description master (CDM) charges as directed.
• •Processes purchase orders for implants and batches charges for all devices.
• •Prices and releases manual charges.
• •Supplies monthly reports regarding charge problems to the department director.
• •Other duties ad assigned

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• •Knowledge of electronic medical record [Required]
• •Computer proficiency including Excel and Word [Required]
• •Good organizational skills [Required]
• •Knowledge of Surgical/CathLab supplies and products [Required]
• •Charge capture and experience with inventory and supply purchase [Preferred]

Education:

• •Associate's of Nursing [Required]
• •Bachelor's of Nursing [Preferred]

Work Experience:

Operating Room/Cath lab/Interventional Radiology Experience required

Licenses and Certifications:

• •Registered Nurse (RN) [Required]
• •Certified Billing and Coding Specialist (CBCS) [Preferred]

Pay Range:

• $33.08 - $58.04
• Background Screening Requirement (Florida Law)
