HAVN Roofing LLC is a residential roofing contractor based in Gilbert, AZ. We take pride in quality workmanship, safe job sites, and treating our crews and customers right. We’re looking for a Roofing Technician to join our crew and help deliver great results on every project.

Position Summary

The Roofing Technician works as part of a roofing crew reporting directly to the Roofing Foreman on residential job sites, performing roofing work safely, efficiently, and to company and manufacturer standards. This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in their craft and wants to grow with a team.

You will be working with our Production TEAM to improve upon the highest quality of work and communication with our customers. You will be empowered to influence, inspire and impact the lives of our customers through service, and aligning your vision with both our core values and mission. This position requires excellence in customer service, a TEAM player and an overall joy for others.

Responsibilities

• •Perform replacements, repairs, and maintenance on all types of roofing systems
• •Follow manufacturer installation guidelines and company standards on every job
• •Load, unload, and carry materials, tools, and equipment to and from the roof
• •Remove old roofing materials and prepare roof surfaces for installation
• •Follow company safety policies, including proper use of fall protection
• •Take direction from the Roof Foreman and work well with the crew
• •Keep job sites clean, organized, and protected, including thorough cleanup and debris removal
• •Treat homeowners and their property with courtesy and respect
• •Keep tools and equipment in good working order
• •Learn new skills and techniques to grow within the company

Requirements

Qualifications

Required:

• •Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
• •Must be able to speak English
• •Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and able to provide acceptable documentation of identity and employment eligibility
• •Must have a valid Arizona driver’s license
• •Reliable transportation to the shop and job sites

Preferred:

• •Experience preferred, but will train the right person
• •Spanish-speaking highly recommended
• •Basic smartphone skills for scheduling and reporting

Physical Requirements

• •Ability to work at heights and on steep or uneven surfaces
• •Ability to lift 50+ lbs and carry materials up ladders
• •Ability to work outdoors in extreme heat and variable weather conditions
• •Ability to stand, climb, kneel, and bend for extended periods
