Job Description Summary

Dowty, a GE Aerospace company, are operated by airlines and Air Forces around the world, and as Value Stream Leader for Rest of World Aftermarket you will lead the aftermarket business that supports our customers outside the USA, and set the direction for how Dowty repairs, overhauls and supports its propellers globally.

You will be accountable for a significant part of the Dowty P&L and will own both the ROW aftermarket strategy and the global MRO strategy. You will decide where we invest, how we grow, and how we deliver an even better experience to the operators who depend on us. You will be the senior voice of Dowty to our airline and air force customers and the person they turn to when it matters most, building trusted relationships that last.

You will work hand-in-hand with our operations and supply chain teams to deliver high quality repairs, overhauls and spares on time. This calls for a leader who can set a clear strategy and then roll up their sleeves to solve the tactical problems that will ultimately enable Dowty to deliver a best in class service, that meets and exceeds customer expectations. You will lead a talented team, with the backing of GE Aerospace’s lean operating system, FLIGHTDECK, and the resources of a global aerospace leader.

Customers

Act as the senior escalation point for customer issues across ROW airline and air force customers, and drive them to resolution.

Build trusted relationships at senior levels and set the strategy for customer visits.

Own customer satisfaction, including the customer survey and the actions that follow, and lead customer performance reviews and reporting.

Delivery, operations and supply chain

Own customer demand for repairs, overhauls and spares, working with customers, Planning and Operations to forecast requirements, secure orders and balance demand against capacity.
