Rubber Extrusion Line Operator

Job Summary :

Universal Polymer & Rubber is growing! This is a 3rd shift position 9pm-7am Monday-Thursday. As a Rubber Extrusion Operator, you will produce and continuously monitor product to customer and internal specifications, maintain accurate production records, and keep the line running correctly.

Summary of essential job functions :

• •Set up and tear down extruder.
• •Load materials
• •Read prints and blueprints
• •Read calipers accurately
• •Set up required downstream equipment.
• •Verify that correct raw material is on the line.
• •Package parts as called out on the Work Ticket for each job.
• •Housekeeping-maintaining a safe work environment.
• •Follow all company policies.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements

High School Diploma or GED

Pre-employment drug screen

Abilities Required

• •Standing 1-10 hrs. per day
• •Lifting 1-35 lbs.
• •Basic math and reading skills
