Role Summary

DBS Consumer Banking Group Technology is seeking a talented React Developer to join our team as Senior Associate. You will own the delivery of complex micro-frontend features for our digibank platform, serving millions of users across multiple Asia-Pacific regions. This role involves building cross-platform solutions that work seamlessly across mobile WebView and web browsers from a single codebase.

Responsibilities

Own end-to-end delivery of complex micro-frontend features for both mobile and web platforms
Develop scalable React applications using TypeScript and modern frontend technologies
Provide technical guidance and code review for junior developers
Optimize application performance across WebView and browser environments
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend teams to deliver customer-centric solutions
Write clean, maintainable code following best practices and coding standards
Participate in technical discussions and contribute to platform improvements

Requirements

4-8 years of professional frontend development experience
4+ years of hands-on experience with React and TypeScript
Strong understanding of micro-frontend architecture and component-based design
Experience with React Hooks and state management libraries (Zustand, Redux, or similar)
Experience building applications for web browsers (mobile WebView experience is a plus)
Solid understanding of web performance optimization techniques
Experience with modern frontend tooling (Webpack, Rsbuild, npm/pnpm/bun)
Good problem-solving and communication skills
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)

Preferred

Experience in banking or financial services industry
Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG)
Experience with design systems and component libraries
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Playwright)
Understanding of security best practices in web development
