Position: Construction Inspector - Water Pipelines

Hourly: $60.00 - $70.00 per hour

  • Schedule:
  • · 8 hour shift
  • · Monday to Friday

Work Location: On the road (Sacramento, CA)

  • Duties:
  • · Water Utility/Pipeline/Water Meter Inspection.
  • · Utilities Water Troubleshooting.
  • · Hot tapping on existing watermains.
  • · Water system installation of new pipelines, replacement, and repairs.
  • · Hydrostatic Pressure testing .
  • · Inspection of various types of pipelines including Ductile Iron pipe.
  • · Inspecting various projects that include but are not limited to Watermain Replacements, Developers, Reservoirs, New Installations, etc.
  • · Overseeing General Contractors.
  • · Ensuring that the projects are in compliance with the codes, construction documents, contracts and meets client’s specifications.
  • Minimum Requirements
  • Required Qualifications:

Must have project experience in tank and sanitation.

Must be able to read drawings, plans and permits.

Must be able to prepare daily inspection reports using Microsoft word.
