Join Vacatia and Help Keep Our Resort Safe!
Are you dependable, observant, and passionate about creating a safe and welcoming environment? Vacatia is seeking a Part-Time Overnight Safety & Security Officer to help protect our guests, owners, associates, and resort property.
In this hands-on role, you'll serve as a visible and reassuring presence throughout the resort, respond to incidents, and help ensure our guests enjoy a safe and comfortable stay. We're looking for someone who can work independently overnight, remain calm under pressure, and deliver exceptional guest service.
Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
Shift: 11:00pm-7:00am
What You'll Do
- Conduct routine overnight patrols of resort buildings, common areas, and parking lots.
- Monitor resort activity and identify potential safety hazards or security concerns.
- Respond professionally to guest concerns, noise complaints, disturbances, medical emergencies, and other incidents.
- De-escalate challenging situations while maintaining a hospitality-first approach.
- Prepare accurate incident reports and communicate important updates to resort leadership.
- Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency responders when necessary.
- Assist guests and work closely with Front Desk and other resort departments to maintain a safe, welcoming environment.
Requirements
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in security, hospitality, customer service, law enforcement, or a related field preferred.
- Strong communication, observation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to remain calm, professional, and decisive in challenging situations.
- Dependable and comfortable working independently during overnight hours.
- Ability to document incidents clearly and accurately.
- Availability to work part-time overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
