• PRIMARY OBJECTIVES
• The primary responsibilities of this post are to actively seek out and engage customers by promoting merchandise in the
• housewares department, ensure customers’ needs are adequately met and exceeded, to ensure that departments are
• adequately stocked and appropriately merchandised while ensuring all transactions are completed accurately according to
• established procedures.

• KEY FUNCTIONS
• •Provide service excellent to customers and generate additional sales, while processing sale transactions
• •To ensure that all steps are followed as it relates to all forms of payment
• •Arrange and display goods on the sales floor to facilitate easy, speedy and safe access
• •Merchandising
• •Effectively order goods from the warehouse and other retail floors
• •Respond to customers’ inquiries, complaints and product queries
• •Assist with stock take

• APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS
• •Excellent customer service skills
• •Five CXC passes at General proficiency level including Mathematics and English Language
• •At least one (1) year sales experience in the retail industry
• •Computer literate in at least Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word
• •Ability to act independently while performing required tasks
• •Ability to use tact and courtesy at all times
• •Good written and oral communication skills
• •Ability to work well with other employees
• •Ability to work under pressure
• •Ability to coordinate activities between different locations
• •Ability to get individual and group tasks completed efficiently and on a timely basis
