Ready to take your career global?

Make your mark at one of the biggest names in payments. We’re looking for a Sales Executive to join our SMB team in a hunter role focused on acquiring new merchants and generating new-business revenue.

Help us unleash the potential of our business by proactively opening doors and turning prospects into customers.

What you will own

Build and manage a healthy pipeline of small and medium-sized merchants across assigned territories, with a strong focus on new customer acquisition and revenue growth.

Proactively generate your own leads through cold calling, door-to-door prospecting, referrals, networking, local market activity and targeted campaigns.

Meet business owners and decision-makers face to face to understand their operating model, payment acceptance needs, transaction profile and growth plans.

Recommend suitable Global Payments solutions across point-of-sale, e-commerce, mobile and integrated payment acceptance, clearly articulating commercial value, fees and implementation requirements.

Own the end-to-end sales cycle from prospecting and qualification through proposal, negotiation, contracting, onboarding and activation, while setting clear expectations with merchants.

Partner closely with Risk, Operations, Customer Service, Product, Compliance and other internal teams to support merchant due diligence, onboarding and a smooth go-live experience.

Track new merchant opportunities from lead generation through contract signing and activation in Salesforce. Keep accurate and timely records of leads, activities, opportunities, next steps and forecasts, and provide management with regular pipeline and performance updates focused on new customer acquisition and new-business revenue growth.

Stay current on payment trends, merchant needs, competitor activity, card acceptance, digital wallets, e-commerce and relevant regulatory or compliance developments.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

What you will bring

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience with at least 2 years of relevant B2B sales or business development experience, preferably serving SMEs, retailers, restaurants, service businesses or e-commerce merchants.

Strong experience in cold calling, door-to-door sales, self-generating leads and building connections within the local business community.

Demonstrated success in meeting sales targets, developing a territory and converting prospects through disciplined pipeline management and follow-up.

Merchant acquiring, payment processing, fintech, banking, POS, e-commerce or SaaS experience is highly preferred.

Good understanding of the merchant sales journey, including needs analysis, pricing discussions, documentation, onboarding and post-sale relationship management.

Confident communicator and active listener who can explain payment solutions clearly and build trust with business owners and internal stakeholders.

Commercially minded, resilient and comfortable working independently in a field-sales environment while collaborating effectively as part of a team.

Strong problem-solving skills, sound judgment and the ability to act quickly to resolve merchant issues within established policies and procedures.

Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese and the ability to communicate in English in a regional and global working environment.
