Job Description:

The opportunity

We are looking for a Sales Manager to join our team in Vaasa, Tampere, or Helsinki, Finland. In this role, you will play an important part in driving the adoption of digital Grid Automation solutions across the Finnish market.

Whether you are an experienced sales professional or at the beginning of your career, we would be happy to hear from you. What matters is your interest in Grid Automation, customers, and developing business. The scope and responsibilities of the role will be tailored according to your background, experience, and development potential.

For candidates at the beginning of their career, the role may initially focus more on tendering, proposal preparation, and sales support activities. As your experience grows, the role will develop toward greater customer and sales responsibility. Experienced candidates can take broader ownership of customer engagement and business development from the start.

How you´ll make an impact

  • Grid Automation portfolio sales and marketing activities for selected customers in Finland.
  • Responsibility for promoting and selling the Grid Automation Systems portfolio.
  • Identify and develop new customer and partner opportunities.
  • Take an active role in sales activities by supporting and working closely with tendering teams, including the preparation and coordination of technical and commercial proposals.
  • Work with local units and the Front-End Sales (FES) organization to identify and develop new business opportunities.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve growth and profitability targets.
  • Represent the company at fairs, seminars, and customer events.
  • Monitor sales performance and ensure KPIs are met within your area of responsibility.
  • Continuously develop your technical, commercial, and product knowledge.

Your background

  • Degree (B.Sc. or M.Sc.) in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Strong interest in sales, with a proactive and customer-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to build networks and develop long-term customer relationships.
  • Experience or knowledge in Grid Automation areas such as Protection & Control, Substation Automation, SCADA, BESS, Energy Portfolio Management, Asset & Work Management, or Communications.
  • Knowledge of the Finnish energy market and key stakeholders is an advantage.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Fluent in Finnish and English, both written and spoken.
  • Experience in sales, tendering, project delivery, or service business related to Grid Automation systems, software solutions, or lifecycle services is considered a plus.
