Help optimize critical supply chain processes in a global healthcare environment

Are you a student interested in supply chain, logistics, process improvement, and digital transformation? Would you like to work on a real business challenge that helps ensure medicines reach patients efficiently and reliably?

Join our team as a GDH EMEA Sales Operations Intern and support a strategic project focused on improving the IAS shipment process. You will work with stakeholders across teams and countries to analyse current ways of working, identify improvement opportunities, and help design future-state solutions that enhance efficiency, visibility, and decision-making.

This internship offers a unique opportunity to combine process analysis, stakeholder engagement, and digital innovation within a global biotechnology company.

What will you do?

You will support a business improvement project by:

  • Analysing the end-to-end IAS shipment process, including workflows, timelines, and handoffs.
  • Identifying bottlenecks, delays, duplication, and process improvement opportunities.
  • Assessing potential automation, AI, and digital solutions to improve operational efficiency.
  • Mapping processes and defining future-state workflows, roles, and responsibilities.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders across teams and countries to gather insights and validate findings.
  • Presenting recommendations and improvement proposals to key stakeholders.

Who are we looking for?

You are currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree and are looking for a final-year internship of approximately 6 months.

You also:

  • Have an interest in supply chain, logistics, and cross-functional operations.
  • Enjoy analysing processes and solving business problems.
  • Have strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Communicate confidently with stakeholders across different teams and functions.
  • Are proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Are willing to learn new tools, including Smartsheet and automation technologies.
  • Can work independently, take initiative, and translate findings into practical recommendations.

What will you gain?

During this internship, you will gain hands-on experience in process improvement, supply chain operations, and digital transformation within an international business environment.

You will also:

  • Learn how complex shipment processes are managed across multiple countries and stakeholders.
  • Develop process mapping, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Gain exposure to automation and AI opportunities within operational processes.
  • Work directly with experienced professionals across supply chain and commercial operations.
  • Strengthen your stakeholder management and presentation skills.
  • Deliver recommendations that can contribute to future operational improvements.

Interested?

Send us your CV and motivation letter. Please include your study programme, preferred internship period, and availability.

Ready to improve global supply chain processes and drive meaningful change? We look forward to meeting you.
