About the role

Sales and Operations Support Specialist

As part of AGL's Commercial & Industrial (C&I) Customers business, the Operational Services & Delivery team keeps sales and service running smoothly for our large business and commercial customers. That covers our tender responses and the day-to-day service delivery our customers rely on.

As the Sales and Operations Support, you will bring structure and quality to two key areas: tender responses and operational support. You will coordinate tender submissions and look after our reusable sales content. You will also support day-to-day operational delivery, customer remediation and continuous improvement, so AGL can serve its C&I customers well.

In this role, you will be accountable for

• •Lead and support tender responses from qualification through to submission, managing timelines, inputs and approvals, and coordinating contributions from Sales, Pricing, Commercial, Legal, Finance, Operations and Product teams.
• •Lead library management for reusable tender content, including templates, standard responses, credentials, policies and supporting collateral, so this content stays accurate, current and easy to access.
• •Improve tender processes to reduce rework, lift quality, speed up turnaround times and make the process easier for everyone involved. Support sales governance by aligning tender activity to strategic fit, commercial thresholds, risk settings and approval requirements.
• •Coordinate day-to-day operational service delivery, managing stakeholder inputs, actions, issues, risks and dependencies. Maintain the plans, schedules, trackers and reporting that show progress and priorities.
• •Support customer remediation delivery, including stakeholder communications, adjustments, trackers, records, reporting and closure activities.
• •Develop and maintain procedures, templates, work instructions, checklists and knowledge materials that support consistent, high-quality operational delivery.

Who We're Looking For

• •Proven experience in operational support, service delivery, change delivery, project coordination, business improvement or a related role. Energy-sector experience is highly regarded, particularly in customer operations, billing, remediation, commercial energy, regulatory change or tender support.
• •Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities, contributors, workflows and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• •Strong numerical skills and close attention to detail when working with calculations, data, spreadsheets, trackers, reporting and quality checks.
• •Clear written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare concise updates, summaries and customer-friendly communications. Sound judgement on risk, privacy, compliance and information management.
• •Confidence using Microsoft 365, Excel, SharePoint, Teams and relevant workflow or document-management systems. Experience with automation, AI/Copilot-enabled ways of working, process improvement and change delivery is desirable.
