About ProCogia:
ProCogia is a data and AI consulting firm helping organizations turn complex technology challenges into measurable business outcomes. We work across highly regulated and high-stakes industries, including telecommunications, financial services, life sciences, healthcare, and the public sector, where security, governance, reliability, and performance are critical. We are actively advancing capabilities across generative AI, agentic systems, workflow automation, AI governance, and enterprise AI applications. At ProCogia, you will work alongside experienced practitioners on meaningful technical challenges and contribute directly to both client solutions and the platforms and products we are building internally.
Our Core Values: Trust, Growth, Innovation, Excellence, and Ownership
Work Location: Vancouver (On-site) ( Full-Time Work from office in Vancouver, five days a week Mon-Fri)
Job Summary
This internship is the front door to ProCogia’s growth engine. You will sit inside the marketing team and own the first conversation a prospective client has with us: researching companies that look like a good fit, reaching out with a relevant point of view, and booking qualified meetings for our consulting leaders. You will report directly to the Marketing Director, who will set your priorities, run your weekly one-on-ones, and coach you on messaging, targeting, and pipeline. This is a hands on role, not a shadowing role: you will have your own target list, your own outreach, and your own numbers from week three onward.
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain target account and contact lists using LinkedIn Sales Navigator and our CRM.
Research prospects so outreach is specific rather than generic: industry, data maturity, recent news, likely pain points.
Run outbound outreach by email, LinkedIn, and phone, following sequences you help write and improve.
Qualify inbound leads from the website, webinars, and content downloads, and route them quickly.
Book discovery calls for senior consultants and prepare a short brief before each one.
Keep the CRM clean: log every activity, update records, flag data quality problems.
Report weekly on outreach sent, replies, meetings booked, and what you are learning from the market.
Must Have:
Currently enrolled in or recently completed a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD program in Computer Science, Machine Learning, AI, Data Science, Computational Linguistics, or a related field.
Pursuing or recently completed a degree or diploma in business, marketing, communications, economics, or a related field, or equivalent capability.
Strong written communication: you can write a short, clear email a busy executive would actually answer.
Comfortable picking up the phone and starting a conversation with someone you have never met.
Curious, self-directed, and organized enough to manage a few hundred accounts without losing track.
Resilient about rejection. Most outreach gets no reply; the job is to keep quality high anyway.
Legally authorized to work in Canada for the duration of the internship.
Nice to have:
Prior sales, customer service, or recruiting experience; exposure to a CRM (HubSpot, Salesforce) or sales engagement tool (Outreach, Salesloft, Apollo); genuine interest in data and AI.
Compensation - $23/hour
Why ProCogia:
At ProCogia, you will work at the intersection of cloud, data, AI, and enterprise technology. You will solve real problems across commercial and regulated environments, work directly with clients, and take meaningful ownership from infrastructure design through production. You will also help shape the platform foundation supporting ProCogia’s growing AI capabilities, giving you exposure to technologies and challenges that extend well beyond traditional DevOps. This is an environment where strong engineers can build, learn, take ownership, and make a visible impact.
