Internship Overview

As a Sales Representative Intern , you’ll learn the ins and outs of selling essential services in a fast-paced, mission-driven industry. You’ll support our sales team in prospecting new clients, nurturing relationships, and helping businesses and residents find the right waste solutions.

Responsibilities

• •Assist in identifying and qualifying new sales leads
• •Support outbound outreach via phone, email, and in-person visits
• •Help prepare proposals, quotes, and presentations for potential clients
• •Maintain CRM records and track customer interactions
• •Shadow experienced sales reps on client meetings and site visits
• •Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities
• •Collaborate with operations to ensure service alignment with customer needs
• •Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving sales strategy
• •Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• •Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field
• •Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• •Comfortable speaking with clients and handling objections
• •Self-motivated and eager to learn in a dynamic environment
• •Proficiency in Microsoft Office; CRM experience is a plus
• •Interest in sustainability, logistics, or service-based industries is a bonus
