Strength in Trust

OneTrust’s mission is to enable innovation through the responsible use of data and AI. We believe that ensuring data is trusted shouldn’t slow teams down—it should accelerate what’s possible. This led us to develop the first technology platform for responsible data use in 2016. Today, with AI representing the latest and most impactful expansion of data yet, OneTrust is once again redefining what responsible innovation looks like. OneTrust, the AI‑Ready Governance Platform™, unifies regulatory intelligence, automation, and connected governance workflows so businesses can continue to move at the speed of AI while ensuring good governance to prevent data misuse at scale. Trusted by thousands of organizations worldwide, OneTrust is shaping the future where trusted data becomes a transformative force for business and society.

The challenge

OneTrust’s Salesforce platform supports critical go-to-market and Lead-to-Cash processes. We are looking for a Salesforce Administrator who can combine strong hands-on administration skills with disciplined troubleshooting, testing, documentation, and stakeholder partnership.

This role will help maintain a stable, secure, and scalable Salesforce environment while delivering enhancements through the Business Technology release process. The role is designed for an administrator who can independently own clearly defined work and grow toward broader solution ownership over time.

The mission

The Salesforce Administrator will configure, test, document, deploy, and support Salesforce solutions that meet business needs and follow platform, security, data integrity, and release-management standards. The role partners closely with Solution Architects, Business Owners, end users, and other Business Systems team members.

Core responsibilities

Salesforce configuration and administration

Configure and maintain Salesforce objects, fields, page layouts, record types, validation rules, formulas, permissions, sharing settings, and related platform features.

Implement and maintain solutions using Salesforce configuration and declarative tools, with lightweight development where appropriate.

Maintain knowledge of Salesforce platform capabilities, new releases, internal tools, and team processes.

Automation and process improvement

Build, maintain, and QA automation, primarily using Salesforce Flow and other native process automation.

Understand when to use before-save, after-save, scheduled, screen, and other appropriate Flow patterns.

Identify opportunities to simplify processes, reduce manual effort, improve data quality, and reduce technical debt.

Production support and troubleshooting

Monitor and triage Salesforce issues from the GTM Systems production support queue.

Investigate, diagnose, and resolve user-reported issues according to defined service levels.

Perform structured root-cause analysis and document the cause, investigation, fix, validation steps, and resolution notes.

Validate fixes in appropriate environments before deployment and communicate status to stakeholders when needed.

Escalate complex issues that require architectural changes, deeper investigation, or effort beyond normal administrator-level resolution to Solution Architects or management with clear context, findings, attempted actions, and recommended next steps.

Quality assurance, UAT, and release delivery

Perform functional QA on configuration and automation before release.

Partner with Solution Architects and Business Owners during UAT to clarify requirements, answer questions, and resolve defects.

Support business users in validating that requirements and expected outcomes have been met.

Use Gearset or comparable release-management tools, or develop proficiency in them after joining.

Support deployment activities, post-release validation, and timely resolution of release-related defects.

Contribute to predictable, high-quality monthly releases with low defect leakage.

Documentation and peer collaboration

Maintain clear documentation for configuration changes, automation logic, assumptions, decisions, test evidence, and deployment details.

Keep tickets, backlog items, release information, and related documentation current.

Participate in peer review by reviewing configuration and automation for quality, scalability, standards, and maintainability.

Experience and qualifications

Required

Hands-on experience administering Salesforce in a business or operations environment.

Experience configuring Salesforce objects, fields, validation rules, formulas, permissions, sharing, and Flow automation.

Experience troubleshooting Salesforce issues and communicating technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.

Experience performing QA, supporting UAT, documenting changes, and participating in controlled releases.

Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining quality, follow-through, and clear communication.

Strong problem-solving, analytical, organizational, and collaboration skills.

Preferred

Salesforce Administrator certification; additional Salesforce certifications are a plus.

Experience with Gearset or another Salesforce deployment and release-management tool.

Experience writing complex Salesforce formulas and validation rules.

Experience running Apex test classes or partnering effectively with developers on code-related testing.

Experience supporting Lead-to-Cash, order management, approvals, pricing, contracting, or other revenue operations processes.

Experience working with Salesforce integrations or connected business systems including but not limited to: Marketing Cloud, Gong, Salesforce CPQ or other integrated CPQ tool, Ironclad, and more.

Measures of success

Success in this role will be reflected by:

Reliable, well-documented resolution of production support issues.

Strong SLA adherence and reduced recurrence of known issues.

High-quality enhancements delivered through scheduled releases.

Low defect leakage and effective QA/UAT support.

Complete and maintainable configuration and release documentation.

Constructive participation in peer review and team knowledge sharing.

Clear, dependable collaboration with Solution Architects, Business Owners, and end users.

Increasing ability to independently deliver appropriately scoped work and take on defined growth opportunities.
