DESCRIPTION

Join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific as a Senior Salesforce Developer, where you will play a key role in designing, developing, and delivering scalable Salesforce solutions that support critical business processes.

This is a hands-on development role for someone who can work independently, understand business requirements, translate them into effective technical solutions, and take ownership of delivery from design through implementation and production support.

The successful candidate will also be expected to provide technical guidance to other developers, contribute to solution design discussions, review technical implementations, and help drive development best practices across the team.

You will work closely with business stakeholders, Salesforce administrators, architects, integration teams, QA, and other cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and scalable solutions across the Salesforce platform.

Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to Salesforce development standards and best practices.

Design and implement integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and other integration patterns.

Support data migration, data quality, and large data volume activities where required.

Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, integration failures, and complex Salesforce platform problems.

Participate in solution design, impact analysis, estimation, testing, deployment, and post-production support.

Collaborate with QA teams to ensure proper unit, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing coverage.

Contribute to release management and CI/CD processes across Salesforce environments.

Maintain clear technical documentation for developed solutions, integrations, and configurations.

Identify opportunities for platform optimization, automation, and technical improvement.

Support team members with technical problem-solving and knowledge sharing.

Participate in production support and critical issue resolution when required.

REQUIREMENTS

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for a strong, hands-on Senior Salesforce Developer who can independently drive technical delivery while also supporting and guiding the broader development team.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable taking ownership of complex requirements, asking the right technical and business questions, proposing practical solutions, and delivering high-quality implementations with minimal supervision.
