Salesforce Solutions Architect
Remote
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Solutions Architect to provide technical leadership, solution design, and architecture oversight for a large federal healthcare modernization program. This role is responsible for defining enterprise Salesforce architecture, driving platform strategy, and ensuring scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions that meet mission and business objectives.
The Salesforce Solutions Architect will work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, developers, security teams, and program leadership to deliver innovative solutions utilizing the Salesforce platform.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design and implementation of enterprise Salesforce solutions across multiple business and technology domains.
Define end-to-end architecture, integration approaches, data models, and platform strategies.
Serve as the technical authority for Salesforce platform capabilities and best practices.
Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Develop architecture roadmaps that align with strategic goals and modernization initiatives.
Design integrations between Salesforce and external systems, applications, and data platforms.
Ensure solutions comply with federal security, privacy, accessibility, and governance requirements.
Provide guidance during development, testing, deployment, and production support activities.
Lead architecture reviews, technical evaluations, and solution assessments.
Establish and maintain architecture standards, design patterns, and development best practices.
Mentor developers, administrators, and technical leads across the organization.
Support Agile delivery teams and participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and release activities.
Identify opportunities to leverage new Salesforce capabilities and emerging technologies.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 10 years of IT experience, including at least 5 years of Salesforce architecture experience.
Extensive experience designing enterprise Salesforce solutions in complex environments.
Strong knowledge of Salesforce platform capabilities and architecture principles.
Experience with system integration, API design, data migration, and enterprise applications.
Experience leading technical teams and providing architectural governance.
Strong understanding of cloud computing, security, and application development best practices.
Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to obtain and maintain any required federal background investigation.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting federal healthcare or health IT initiatives.
Experience with large-scale digital transformation or modernization programs.
Salesforce Certified Application Architect.
Salesforce Certified System Architect.
Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) highly preferred.
Experience working in regulated environments requiring security and compliance oversight.
Experience with enterprise cloud platforms and integration frameworks.
Security Requirements
Must be able to obtain and maintain any required federal background investigation or VA clearance.
S. Citizenship required.
