Sanitation 2nd Shift -Newbern-TN

Job Details:

Schedule - Monday - Friday with possible Saturday's

Hours - 7:30 pm - until finished

Pay - 23.65/Hr. plus 1.00 shift differential

Job Description:

• •This position is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing work areas and, assembling and disassembling equipment while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
• •Dry pickup area.
• •Break down and set up equipment where needed.
• •Use of high-pressure hose to rinse area and floor.
• •Use of various chemicals to foam and scrub floor.
• •Visually check area for cleanliness.
• •Ability to work closely with Quality Assurance and USDA.
• •Uphold the principals of SQF 2000.
• •Work schedule will vary depending on production Perform various other tasks as assigned by Lead person, Supervisor or Superintendent.

REQUIREMENTS:

• •Must be willing and able to work in temperatures less than or equal to 35 degrees Fahrenheit temperature for minimum of 8 hours.
• •Ability to become certified in Tyson’s Lock Out/Tag Out program.
• •Must be willing and able to pinch/grip product/equipment.
• •Familiar with safe operation and use of high-pressure hoses and sanitation chemicals.
• •Must be willing and able to perform the following task for periods of 8 hours on concrete floor, some of which may include but is not limited to bending, twisting, reaching, standing, stooping, walking, climbing, and lifting.
• •Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.

• •Must have 6 MThs continuous employment in the last 18 months. Preferred candidates will have at least 6 MThs of relevant machine operator, warehouse, agriculture or production experience.
