Shift: 6:15 PM-6:45 AM

Hourly Rate: $24.18 an hour + $.25 & .30 shift differential

Conagra Brands is looking for a Sanitation Operator to join our sanitation team at our Indianapolis manufacturing plant on West 62nd Street. You will help clean and sanitize production equipment so we can continue producing high-quality products for customers across the country.

You will work onsite and report to the Sanitation Team Lead.

Schedule: Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, from 6:15 p.m. to 6:45 a.m.

A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing

• •Perform cleaning and sanitizing procedures on milk and product-flow systems between production cycles.
• •Manually control valves and piping to prepare for clean-in-place cycles.
• •Operate the human-machine interface, or HMI, to complete sanitation sequences.
• •Troubleshoot, adjust, calibrate, monitor, and inspect equipment for issues.
• •Enter equipment defects when corrective action is needed.
• •Coordinate work activities with team members working on the same or different shifts.
• •Obtain and replace sanitation chemicals as needed.
• •Use pressurized water hoses and caustic and acid-based chemicals to clean production equipment.
• •Operate forklifts and scissor lifts.
• •Perform chemical tests.

Ingredients Required for Success

• •At least six months of experience working in a processing, production, manufacturing, or distribution environment.
• •Ability to follow sanitation procedures and chemical-handling requirements.
• •Ability to work the scheduled 12-hour overnight shift.
• •Ability to work safely and effectively with team members across multiple shifts.
