SAP BTP IS-RAP-CAP Architect

  • Location: Mumbai / Bangalore / Pune / Hyderabad
  • Grade: E1 / E2

Role Summary

Seeking an experienced SAP BTP IS-RAP-CAP Architect to lead SAP transformation programs and design cloud-native, Clean Core-compliant solutions using SAP BTP, Integration Suite, RAP, and CAP. The role involves enterprise architecture, modernization initiatives, stakeholder management, and pre-sales leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define SAP BTP architecture, governance standards, and technology roadmaps.
  • Lead SAP cloud transformation and Clean Core initiatives.
  • Design integration solutions using SAP Integration Suite.
  • Architect applications using RAP, ABAP Cloud, CDS Views, OData Services, and Fiori Elements.
  • Build cloud-native applications using CAP, Node.js, Java, HANA Cloud, REST APIs, and microservices.
  • Develop side-by-side extensions for SAP S/4HANA landscapes.
  • Support solutioning, estimations, RFPs, delivery governance, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Mentor architects, developers, and integration consultants.

Architecture & Security: Enterprise Architecture, Cloud-Native Development, Microservices, API-Led Connectivity, Event-Driven Architecture, DevOps & CI/CD, OAuth, JWT, SAML, IAS, IPS

Preferred Skills

SAP Build Work Zone, SAP AI Core/Generative AI Hub, SAP Joule Extensions, Datasphere, Kubernetes, Docker, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure & AWS Integration

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Engineering, IT, Computer Science, or related field.
  • SAP BTP, Integration Suite, and CAP certifications preferred.
  • RAP/ABAP Cloud certification is an advantage.

Experience

  • 15-18+ years of SAP technical experience.
  • Strong expertise in SAP BTP, Integration Suite, RAP, and CAP.
  • Experience delivering multiple SAP BTP transformation programs.
  • Exposure to SAP S/4HANA Clean Core and side-by-side extensions.
  • Proven leadership in architecture governance, stakeholder management, and pre-sales engagements.
