SAP FI Consultant

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior SAP FI – Accounts Payable Consultant to lead and deliver SAP FI/AP solutions within a complex business environment.

You will work closely with business stakeholders, functional teams, and technical teams to translate requirements into effective SAP solutions. The role requires strong hands-on SAP FI expertise combined with the ability to take ownership of solution design, delivery, issue resolution, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• •Lead the design, configuration, implementation, and support of SAP FI – Accounts Payable (AP) solutions.
• •Analyze complex business requirements and translate them into scalable SAP functional solutions.
• •Provide functional expertise and recommendations across the Accounts Payable process area.
• •Take ownership of complex functional issues, including root-cause analysis, troubleshooting, and resolution.
• •Support end-to-end solution delivery, including requirements analysis, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support.
• •Collaborate with business, functional, technical, and integration teams to ensure effective solution delivery.
• •Review functional designs and solutions to ensure quality and alignment with business requirements.
• •Identify opportunities for process improvement and system optimization.
• •Support integration between SAP FI/AP and relevant SAP or external systems.
• •Provide guidance and knowledge sharing to junior team members where required.
• •Manage priorities and deliverables while working across multiple stakeholders and workstreams.

Required Qualifications

• •Strong hands-on experience with SAP FI – Accounts Payable.
• •Solid understanding of end-to-end SAP FI/AP business processes.
• •Experience in SAP FI configuration, functional design, testing, troubleshooting, and implementation/support.
• •Ability to independently analyze and resolve complex SAP functional issues.
• •Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• •Good stakeholder management and communication skills.
• •Ability to work effectively with cross-functional and technical teams.
• •Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.

Preferred Qualifications

• •Experience working on SAP S/4HANA environments.
• •Experience with SAP implementation, transformation, enhancement, or support projects.
• •Understanding of integration between SAP FI and other SAP modules.
• •Experience supporting testing, cutover, deployment, or go-live activities.
• •Ability to mentor or provide functional guidance to other team members.
• •Strong adaptability and project coordination skills.
