As a SAP Functional Testing Senior Associate you will focus on quality engineering for software and product innovation, helping validate SAP functional processes and support testing activities across client service engagements. As a Senior Associate you will analyze complex problems, build meaningful client connections, manage assigned workstreams, and guide junior team members while deepening your technical skills and understanding of the business context within our Technology Consulting practice. In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will use testing methodologies, critical thinking, and data-driven insights to support SAP solution delivery, interpret feedback, and contribute to work that helps clients move forward with confidence.

Responsibilities

• - Analyzing SAP functional testing needs and translating client requirements into test cases and test protocols
• - Designing and executing functional, regression, compatibility, and user acceptance testing across SAP solutions
• - Documenting defects clearly, tracking resolution progress, and validating retesting outcomes
• - Applying quality engineering methods and testing tools to support delivery across assigned workstreams
• - Reviewing test data, test coverage, and release readiness to identify gaps and support informed recommendations
• - Coordinating post go-live support activities and monitoring system behavior for issues that affect business use
• - Collaborating with client teams and internal stakeholders to clarify requirements, interpret feedback, and manage testing priorities
• - Supporting junior team members by reviewing assigned tasks, sharing testing methods, and reinforcing technical standards

What You Must Have

• - At least a Bachelor's degree
• - At least 4 years of experience
• - Oral and written proficiency in English required

What Sets You Apart

- Core module expertise: Hands-on functional knowledge in at least two modules, such as FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, EWM, or QM, including the ability to read and validate configuration rather than only execute scripts.

• •End-to-end process knowledge: Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Record-to-Report, and Plan-to-Produce, including cross-module touchpoints and period-end close.
• •ECC to S/4HANA transition knowledge: Understanding of key conversion changes, including Business Partner, Universal Journal (ACDOCA), new asset accounting, and MATDOC. Brownfield, greenfield, and RISE with SAP exposure are preferred.
• •Fiori and integration awareness: Functional familiarity with Fiori apps and roles, as well as interfaces to SAP and non-SAP systems, including IDocs, OData/APIs, and SAP Integration Suite.
• •Adjacent SAP solutions (good to have): Exposure to SuccessFactors, Ariba, IBP, or Concur.
• - Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Artificial Intelligence and Robotics, Computer and Information Science, Computer Engineering, Graphic Design, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Mathematics
• - Demonstrating SAP functional testing knowledge across client projects
• - Using test case generation, UAT, and defect reporting
• - Interpreting data to inform testing insights and recommendations
• - Applying QA methodologies and quality engineering tools
• - Navigating ambiguity while anticipating team and client needs
