  • The work
  • The SAP S/4HANA Procurement Consultant will support an active aerospace and defense SAP S/4HANA program operating within a classified environment. This role is focused primarily on direct procurement processes and requires deep hands-on experience supporting business operations, production activities, testing cycles, and release management. The consultant will participate in ongoing operations while also contributing to the design, build, test, and deployment of new capabilities for future program releases.

You will act as a functional subject matter expert, partnering with business users and technical teams to resolve issues, validate process designs, support UAT, and ensure procurement processes operate effectively across the full program lifecycle. This position requires strong SAP S/4HANA procurement knowledge, exceptional troubleshooting abilities, and experience supporting large-scale transformation programs—ideally in aerospace, defense, or classified environments.

Key responsibilities:

Serve as the functional SME for SAP S/4HANA Procurement in a classified operational environment

Support production operations, business users, issue triage, and defect resolution

Participate in solution design, requirements definition, build support, and testing for upcoming release increments

Support UAT planning and execution, deployment activities, and cutover readiness

Develop end-user documentation, training materials, and job aids

Plan and coordinate procurement-related deployment and cutover tasks across project teams

Here’s what you need:

Required Qualifications

Deep SAP S/4HANA Procurement expertise, including:

Purchase Requisitions, Contracts, Purchase Orders

Approval workflows, purchasing info records, pricing

Inbound delivery, goods receipt, and invoice verification

At least one full lifecycle SAP S/4HANA implementation

Strong experience in troubleshooting, defect analysis, and business operations support

Preferred Qualifications

Aerospace and Defense industry experience

Federal government contract management experience

Experience supporting classified environments

Experience with project-based manufacturing or defense programs

Experience supporting large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformation initiatives

Eligibility requirements:

Natural US-born Citizens only (no dual citizenship)

Minimum of an active Secret Clearance

You must live local to one of the following locations and be willing to work at the client site every week Monday-Friday or a modified schedule of Monday-Thursday:

St. Louis, MO (preferred location)

Philadelphia, PA

Arlington, VA

Huntington Beach, CA

The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. $103,200 — $196,400 USD
