POSITION SUMMARY

Ticket Scanners are responsible for ensuring every ticket or season pass is validated each time the guest rides the lift. This involves engaging with and providing a first-class mountain adventure for each and every guest, communicating clearly and making split second decisions to ensure proper ticket validation. This is a seasonal position with part-time opportunities, paid at $20.00/hr.

Recruitment for this role will be ongoing through December.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• •Ensure RFID gate reads guests passes
• •Assist with the orchestration, set up, and breakdown of maze
• •Open and close pinch points as needed for maximum traffic flow
• •Be aware of all ticket types and prices
• •Assist and respond to guest inquiries
• •Must have current information about the mountain and events
• •Ability to troubleshoot RFID gates and tablet equipment
• •Additional duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS

• •Must be at least 14 years of age or older
• •Able to work outside for long periods of time in inclement weather
• •Reliable transportation to/from work
• •Must be able to work in high-volume, fast-paced environment
• •Able to communicate and problem solve independently
• •Must be comfortable working with electronic equipment
• •Ability to lift 50lbs on a consistent basis
• •Actively pursuing a High School Diploma, or equivalent
• •Previous customer service experience, preferred

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS

This position may be required to work weekends and holidays.
