What You’ll Do:

• •Create a warm, joyful, and developmentally appropriate learning environment
• •Plan and implement engaging, play-based activities grounded in research-based practices
• •Support children’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development
• •Build strong, respectful partnerships with families and colleagues
• •Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of children at all times
• •Maintain compliance with California Title 22 regulations and program policies

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

• •ECE Units required under California Title 22 (must meet teacher qualification requirements)
• •Ability to pass a criminal background check
• •CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• •Valid California Teaching Permit or willingness to obtain upon hire
• •A positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a genuine passion for early childhood education

Bonus Qualifications (Preferred):

• •Knowledge of DRDP implementation
• •Basic knowledge of the Environment Rating Scale (ERS) for preschool
