Job Description
JOB SUMMARY: To accompany weekly Kairos services and special Chaplaincy services as needed.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Rehearse music on own schedule in preparation for weekly services (usually 1-2 hours).
- Rehearse music for weekly Kairos service with other musicians from 7-8 p.m. on Tuesdays.
- Play piano or guitar for Kairos services from 8-9 p.m. on Tuesdays as needed.
- Play piano or guitar for special Christian holiday services as needed.
- Play piano or guitar for praise and worship music nights as needed.
Qualifications include:
- Previous engagement with Chaplaincy programming and events preferred
- Exceptional piano and/or guitar skills
- Ability to read music with ease
- Experience with music performance
- Familiarity with worship services preferred but not required
- Attention to detail and high level of organization
- Possess effective communication skills
