Seasonal Mutuel Teller - Part Time (Day Shift)

We are currently seeking a talented individual to become a Mutuel Teller. An individual could be successful if they possess the following.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Mutuel Teller is responsible for selling and cashing pari-mutuel tickets. Always presents a friendly and professional image at Oaklawn Hot Springs, Arkansas. The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary:

• •Cashes tickets and pays out money after verification of win utilizing the Cash Count Back Procedure. Enters customers' transactions into computer to record transactions, and issues computer generated receipts.
• •Orders daily supply of cash, and counts incoming cash.
• •Balances currency, coin, and checks in cash drawer at end of shift and compares totaled amounts with data displayed on computer screen.
• •Provides vouchers, results, and summaries as requested.
• •Maintains a working knowledge of Probe procedures and troubleshooting.
• •Regular punctual attendance
• •Ability to work required overtime
• •Previous cash handling experience.
• •Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• •Ability to work in a fast-paced and high volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness
• •Good understanding of horse race betting desired.
• •Other duties as assigned

• •Prior mutuel teller experience is preferred
• •Must be reliable to work as scheduled
• •High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

• •Must be able to obtain and maintain an Arkansas Racing License.
• •Must successfully complete C.T.R.
