Role Overview

Brilliant National School is seeking a passionate Social Science Teacher to teach History, Civics, Geography, and Economics as per CBSE curriculum, fostering awareness, critical thinking, and responsible citizenship.

Key Responsibilities

• •Plan and deliver Social Science lessons aligned with the CBSE syllabus (History, Political Science, Geography, Economics).
• •Use maps, charts, case studies, and real-life examples to make concepts engaging and relatable.
• •Prepare and evaluate class tests, project work, assignments, and term examinations; maintain proper academic records.
• •Encourage discussions, presentations, and debates to develop analytical and critical thinking skills.
• •Integrate current affairs and contemporary issues to build socio-political awareness.
• •Guide students in project work, Social Science exhibitions, and CBSE-mandated activities.
• •Maintain discipline and inclusive practices in the classroom, respecting diverse views and backgrounds.
• •Communicate student performance and behavior updates to parents during PTMs and through regular reports.

Eligibility / Qualifications

• •Graduate/Postgraduate in History/Political Science/Geography/Economics or related Social Science discipline.
• •B.Ed. (mandatory), CTET/KARTET preferred.
• •Minimum 2–3 years of experience teaching Social Science in CBSE/ICSE schools.
• •Strong communication skills, clarity in explanation, and ability to connect concepts to real-world context.

Work Location & Timings

• •Location: Budigere Cross, Bengaluru, Karnataka
• •Working Days: Monday to Saturday (one Saturday off as per school policy, if applicable)
• •Timings: 8:15 AM to 3:45 PM
