KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Design and deliver engaging, student centered Science/Physics lessons aligned with the Cambridge curriculum and the school's educational goals.

Prepare schemes of work, learning resources and assessments that monitor academic progress and support character development.

Differentiate instruction to respond to varied learning needs, language backgrounds and levels of readiness.

Provide timely, constructive feedback and maintain accurate records of student attainment and progress.

Create a safe, inclusive and supportive classroom and manage it in a consistent, restorative and Christ-centered manner.

Collaborate with colleagues, communicate with parents and contribute to meetings, professional development, chapel and wider school activities.

Teach courses assigned by the secondary principal.

Carry out all assigned duties with professionalism.

Teach and serve in a broad range of responsibilities as requested by administration.

Maintain personal teaching certifications.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Science, Education, or related field

Teaching Certification/License

Experience teaching Cambridge IGCSE and/or A-Level Physics or Coordinated Science (desired, but negotiable)
