About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Full-Time Control Room Officer to join our security team servicing a major industrial site in the Port Kembla region.

The primary focus of this role is Control Room Operations, including CCTV and alarm monitoring, incident management, access control, communications, and coordinating security responses.

Previous Rapid Response experience is required, as the role will also involve responding to alarms, incidents, and security matters across the site when required.

Key Responsibilities

• •Monitor CCTV, alarms, access control, and security systems
• •Manage and coordinate responses to incidents and emergencies
• •Communicate with security officers, site personnel, and emergency services
• •Maintain accurate incident logs and reports
• •Conduct Rapid Response Patrols and attend incidents when required
• •Perform access control, patrols, and security inspections
• •Provide professional customer service and stakeholder engagement

To be successful, you will have:

• •Previous Control Room Security experience
• •Demonstrated Rapid Response experience
• •Current NSW Security Licence
• •Current First Aid Certificate
• •Current Full Driver Licence
• •Strong computer, CCTV, and reporting skills
• •Excellent communication and decision-making skills
• •Ability to remain calm under pressure
• •Professional presentation and strong work ethic
• •Flexibility to work rotating days, nights, weekends, and public holidays

Industrial or high-security experience will be highly regarded.
