SECURITY OFFICER

Summary

You will serve as a Security Officer in the Security Department (Code R104) of TRIREFFAC KINGS BAY.

Duties

• •You will plan work to be accomplished by subordinates, set and adjust short term priorities, and prepare schedules for completion of work.
• •You will assign work to subordinates based on priorities, selective consideration of the difficulty and requirements of assignments, and the capabilities of employees.
• •You will evaluate work performance of subordinates.
• •You will give advice, counsel, or instructions to employees on both work and administrative matters.
• •You will effect disciplinary measures, such as warnings, reprimands, and suspensions, recommending other action in more serious cases.
• •You will find ways to improve production or increase the quality of the work directed.
• •You will develop performance standards for civilian personnel.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: - Experience in managing complex physical, personnel, industrial, information, and antiterrorism/force protection security programs. - Experience in formulating operating guidelines, approaches, and modes of operations. - Experience in directing the implementation of uniform policies and procedures for classification, declassification, safeguarding, transmission and destruction using consistent and cost-effective methods. - Experience in preparing comprehensive reports of findings and recommendations for leadership's review and action.
