THE JOB:

As an on-call Security Officer, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming resort environment. In this critical role, you will mitigate potential threats, address safety concerns, and respond to challenging situations with discretion, sound judgment, and professionalism. Working alongside departments throughout the property, you will support daily operations while delivering exceptional guest service, providing assistance and guidance, and ensuring guests feel safe, supported, and welcome throughout their visit.

THE STARTING RATE: $20

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• •Maintain a visible, approachable, and professional Security presence throughout the property, promoting guest and employee safety, delivering exceptional guest service, and supporting departments with operational and security-related needs.
• •Respond promptly to dispatch calls, guest and employee concerns, security incidents, and emergency situations, serving as a first responder while exercising sound judgment, discretion, and professionalism.
• •Prepare accurate reports documenting daily activities, security incidents, property damage, theft, accidents, and unusual occurrences.
• •Support gaming operations by performing designated gaming drops and transactions, including the secure handling and transportation of drop boxes and chip carriers.
• •Assist in emergency response efforts, including securing incident areas, coordinating with emergency personnel, providing first aid, and supporting evacuation procedures as needed.
• •Successfully complete required Security Academy and ongoing mandatory training, including legal compliance, defensive tactics, conflict resolution, de-escalation, first aid, CPR/AED, and emergency response procedures.
• •Patrol and monitor interior and exterior areas of the property, as required, including surveillance systems and alarms, to identify suspicious activity, potential threats, and safety concerns

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• •Must be 21 years of age or older
• •Currently holds a Nevada Issued Driver's License
• •1+ years of prior relevant customer service experience required
• •Must have the flexibility to work day, swing, and graveyard shifts as needed to accommodate employee time off, high-volume events, and departmental operational needs.
