THE JOB:

Be on the front lines of safety. As a Security Officer, you’ll maintain a strong visible presence, deter threats, and take fast, decisive action during security and emergency situations—including life‑safety incidents. This active role requires specialized training, physical readiness, and the confidence to perform under pressure while following clear, professional protocols.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• •Provide excellent guest service to guests and employees and resolve complaints and issues involving both guests and employees.
• •Act as a first responder in emergency situations, render appropriate first aid to injured persons and following established protocol for reporting injuries.
• •Monitor alarm system and surveillance cameras.
• •Perform gaming drops/transactions, including carrying drop boxes and chip carriers.
• •Act as a dispatcher to relay information, messages and/or emergencies to or from appropriate personnel using telephones or two-way radios. Write reports of daily activities and irregularities such as property damage, theft, guest or employee accidents, or unusual occurrences.
• •Assist in emergency situations by securing the scene to prevent further loss or damage, advise personnel of threats and potential threats, summon emergency responders to the incident, and initiate and conduct evacuation procedures.
• •Required to successfully attend and pass all recurring mandatory legal, defensive tactics, first aid, CPR/AED training/drill as a condition of employment. Maintain proficiency in the use of all assigned equipment.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• •High School Diploma or GED is required
• •1+ Years of Prior Relevant Experience in Customer Service Experience is required

Pay Rate:

The rate for this role is:

$21.50

This rate represents a good faith estimate of the wage rate that MGM reasonably expects to pay for the position upon hire.

Pay will not be below any applicable minimum wage.

Should overtime be worked, employees are paid overtime pay in accordance with state requirements.
