We're looking for an experienced Senior Accountant (m/f/d) to take ownership of our day-to-day accounting operations and financial reporting. In this role, you'll ensure compliance, drive process improvements, and partner with teams across the business to support informed decision-making in a fast-paced environment.

### Your roadmap to make an impact

• •Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
• •Manage the accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely invoice processing, payments, collections, and expense reporting.
• •Lead the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting.
• •Oversee fixed asset accounting, including capitalization, depreciation, disposals, and asset reconciliations.
• •Perform and manage inter company reconciliations, ensuring accurate balances and timely resolution of discrepancies.
• •Maintain robust financial records and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• •Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and other stakeholders to support audits, tax filings, and statutory reporting.
• •Drive continuous improvements in accounting processes, financial controls, and documentation to enhance efficiency and scalability.
• •Partner with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights, support business decisions, and improve operational processes.

## Job requirements

• •Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• •4 - 7+ years of relevant accounting experience, ideally in startups, scale-ups, or complex environments.
• •Strong hands-on experience with German accounting standards ( HGB ); IFRS exposure is a plus.
• •Experience owning closing processes and working with auditors.
• •Practical experience with ERP systems, Odoo experience is a strong plus.
• •Familiarity with spend/expense tools such as Moss , Pleo, Spendesk, or similar.
• •Strong Excel skills and interest in automation and modern, AI-supported accounting workflows.
• •Hands-on, structured, and detail-oriented, with a strong sense of ownership.
• •Fluent in German and English.
