Senior Accountant (M/F/D)

Are you an experienced accountant who enjoys being close to the business and taking ownership of day-to-day finance operations?

SPARK Bulgaria is looking for a Senior Accountant to join our Finance team.

This is a hands-on role combining operational accounting, month-end closing, reconciliations, reporting and process improvement. You’ll be an important part of our Finance team and will work closely with colleagues across the business.

🔎 What you’ll do:

• •Manage day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accurate recording of transactions
• •Perform account reconciliations and monitor balances
• •Support monthly and year-end closing activities
• •Prepare accounting schedules and financial reporting
• •Handle operational accounting matters and resolve accounting-related issues
• •Support statutory reporting and external audits
• •Work closely with internal teams and external partners
• •Identify opportunities to improve and streamline accounting processes
• •Participate in finance projects and ERP/system improvements

🎯 What we’re looking for:

• •4+ years of relevant accounting experience
• •Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
• •Hands-on experience with operational accounting and month-end closing
• •Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• •Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently
• •Good command of English
• •Experience with ERP systems; Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is a plus
• •A proactive, hands-on and business-oriented approach
