What role we’re hiring for:

We are a growing fintech organization looking to add a Senior Accounting Manager reporting directly to our VP of Finance & Accounting!

What you’ll be responsible for in this role:

Managing the accounting department’s daily operations including the AR and AP functions

Leading the month-end close process for our multi-entity and multi-national operations

Working with domestic and international external consultants to facilitate the Company’s various compliance-related activities, including financial statement audits, tax filings, and other regulatory filings as required for all countries we operate within

Working closely with the Controller, CFO, and others within the organization to produce various ad hoc reporting analyses

Researching various accounting topics and providing research recommendations to the Controller and CFO as necessary

Assisting with the Treasury function for the global organization

Assisting with the implementation and maintenance of streamlined and efficient accounting policy and procedure

What experiences and skills are necessary to be successful in this role:

7+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally with experience in the SAAS/tech industry

Demonstrated understanding of US GAAP theory and application, bonus if you’re familiar with IFRS!

Experience with consolidated financial reporting for multi-currency, multi-entity, or multi-national operations

Familiarity with the COSO internal controls framework to assist with the development, implementation, and maintenance of an appropriate internal controls environment
